Originally from Madison, South Dakota, Colleen is now deeply rooted in the Pacific Northwest community, where she currently resides in Camas, WA, with her husband, Troy.
As a dedicated financial advisor and mother of three grown children — Jordan, Michaela, and Christian – Colleen has navigated the complexities of raising a family while building her career. Through her life experiences, she has gained a deep understanding of the challenges families and businesses face at various stages, allowing her to provide insightful and compassionate financial guidance.
A business graduate of the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, NE, Colleen's journey into financial advising began after three years with the FDIC as a bank examiner in Boston, MA. Seeking a career that combined her financial acumen with her passion for helping others, she joined Waddell & Reed in 1994, where she built her financial advising business for over two decades.
Colleen's approach to wealth management is marked by a genuine desire to make a positive impact in her clients' lives. She offers them not only sound, comprehensive financial advice, but also a supportive, unbiased ear to share their life's joys, struggles, and aspirations. As an independent contractor throughout her career, Colleen is excited to embark on a new chapter with Aspire Wealth Advisors, where she can continue to serve her clients under her own business name. When not in the office, she enjoys hiking, reading, kayaking, volunteering, and traveling to visit her children, sisters, and friends around the United States.
